One of my favorite parts of my Wedding Week a couple of weeks ago was seeing how the masculine showed up!
The range and possibility of a man when he is free to be a whole version of a human.
The men in my life and I showed up open-hearted, with joy, play, strength, spirituality, creativity, love, tenderness, and power.
I saw men party with endless tequila shots and other men party with dance and laughter. Neither way is right nor better than another.
I saw men hug and embrace each other with tenderness, kindness, and love, and men bro out, connecting in silly, playful, and grounded ways.
I experienced deep spirituality via rituals like the Temazcal & Rapé Ceremonies. Incorporating setting intentions, saging, meditation, and with some of the same men, experience the power of our strength and bodies in the Jungle Gym.
I saw father and son love, brotherly love, brotherhood, friendship, and community expand and be created through the men.
I saw and experienced tears of joy and sadness, love and heartbreak, celebration and letting go.
This is possible for men when we open our hearts and minds and allow in more than society, has traditionally permitted us to feel and experience.
When we allow our feminine to enhance and expand our masculine, we get to experience this life fully, we get all of it, and when we get all of it, we get to thrive within ourselves, with our partners, and with each other!
All men can experience this level of joy, peace, ease, abundance, love, play, spirit, connection, and power.
And it requires getting out of our traditionally defined comfort zones of what it means to be a man and all the ways we’ve been conditioned to be the men we are.
I want this level of freedom and joy for all men!
